Cylinder Head - Assembly Machines

Motor Blocks - Assembly Machines

Assembly of Valve Seats and Valve Guides - Fully Automatic
Assembly machines for the assembly of valve seats and valve guides integrate the following processes:
- Automatic loading and unloading of work piece
- Feeding of seats and guides with an inspection of orientation, length or diameter
- Freezing of the seats and guides in a nitrogen bath in accordance with customer specifications
- Lubricating of the seat pockets and guide
- Insertion of seats and guides with servo processes
- Monitoring of the press process through integrated force/distance monitoring
Assembly of Valve Seats and Valve Guides Semi-Automatic (Offline)
Semi-automatic assembly stations for the assembly of valve seats and valve guides integrate the following processes:
- Manual loading and unloading of work piece
- Manual lubricating of the seats and guides
- Manual insertion of seats and guides with Poka Yoke equipment
- Cooling of the seats and guides in a nitrogen bath in accordance with customer specifications
- Automatic insertion of seats and guides with servo process
- Monitoring of the press process through integrated force/distance monitoring
- Display of the results on the screen
Assembly of Bearing Caps - Fully Automatic
Assembly machines for the assembly of camshaft bearing caps or crankshaft bearing caps integrate the following processes:
- Automatic loading and unloading of work piece
- Provision of bearing caps as bulk materials, on pallets or on feed conveyors
- Feeding of the bearing caps
- Placement of the bearing caps
- Feeding and inserting bolts
- Fastening the bearing cap
- Torque/angle monitoring of fastening process
Assembly of Bearing Caps - Semi-Automatic (Offline)
Semi-automatic assembly stations for the assembly of camshaft bearing caps integrate the following processes:
- Manual loading and unloading of work piece
- Feeding of bearing caps as bulk materials or on pallets
- Manual placement of the bearing cap with the help of insertion masks
- Manual insertion of the bolts and caps
- Automatic fastening of the bearing cap
- Torque/angle monitoring of fastening process
- Display of the results on the screen
Assembly of Cup Plugs
Assembly machines for cup plugs integrate the following processes:
- Automatic loading and unloading of work piece
- Provision and insertion of the assembly parts through bowl or step feeders
- Automatic Loctite equipment applies bead of Loctite
- Insertion of ball and cup plugs
- Placement of KOENIG Expanders
- Integrated leak test (optional)
Insertion of Cylinder Liners using Heat
Assembly systems for the joining of cylinder liners in cylinder bores integrate the following processes:
- Automatic loading and unloading of work piece
- The motor blocks are heated up to approximately 200 degrees in an oven
- A heated motor block is transferred to a joining station
- A robot transfers the tempered liners to the joining station.
- The liners are arranged in the joining station and added to the cylinder bores.
- Cooling down of the motor block to the ambient temperature
- The result of the joining process is monitoring in a subsequent test station.
